Shanghai Part III

In and around the French Concession. The whole area looked like we were walking about in Europe.

Apparently the Frecnh Concession is where young Shanghai shops. So well...that's what we did too Xp

We also went to Fuxing Park which is also located somewhere within the French Concession. The park was full of people dancing, singing, playing kites, badminton and cycling. And it was a weekday too!! I felt like I was in a musical~ ^^

Owh and check out the Starbucks. God damn. That is how Starbucks here should be stocked instead of the minuscule selections they have here -__-;;

I think I just busted another one of my headphones again T____T

There's that horrible distortion of the bass whenever my music comes on so it doesn't sound as clear as it should be. I've been told that I put my music on too loud. Pfffht~ What's the point of having your own personal headphones if you can't have it on the maximum level??

Just when you guys thought I may have given up on Big Bang and gone off to the dark side of fangirlling over well, girl groups instead of boys.....Out comes Big Bang's with their new Japanese single Gara Gara Go. I'm not gonna post that single cos you can find it anywhere online but here is one of the tracks from the single. It's called "Top of the World" and urgh~ it's hella sexy. YG is killing me man. Spaazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz~!

Random Thoughts #4

Currently listening to: 2NE1's "I Don't Care" and 1TYM's "1TYM"

Currently reading: Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami...Well, I've been trying to read it since early this year...but after a page my head hurts. I'm an imaginative person and the man writes for the sole purpose of drawing pictures in my head. So I lose focus after a while and start to daydream and then I have to reread parts...then I lose focus again. Haish.

Current thoughts:

1. I slipped and fell down the stairs yesterday, hard and hurt my back. Mum panicked cos I've got numerous back injuries from before. I swear I don't even know what real pain feels like anymore. Yes my back hurts. But then again it always hurts....so I give up. Whatever. Pain is more like annoyance than anything else. The only cool thing to come out of this is I'm gonna get a really wicked bruise later on. Maybe I'll take pics and show them off later Xp

2. Is it just me or does Utada Hikaru dumb down her song writing capabilities and the lyrical content of her songs the minute she writes her English singles?

3. Shall I buy makeup or CDs?

4. I've got a job interview this Friday. Why do I feel like I might fuck that up?

5. I've also gotten myself an apartment which I haven't moved in yet. I'll be sharing it with a friend. Now we're looking for more mates to stay there to help with the rent. Apparently though the toilet doesn't work til this weekend when the contractor comes in to fix it...

6. I got hit on by a guy in the elevator when I went to check out the apartment. Not bad looking. I might actually start to like living there.

7. I also found out there's a couple of Japanese and Koreans living there. Hehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehe.

8. I've been blogging illegally (it's 2.43 am right now and everyone's asleep) cos I'm supposed to be on bed rest til they cut the meds outta my system. Man, I love painkillers.

9. Someone needs to give me pot. I heard its a more organic approach to say.......panadol.

10. Someone needs to write some really good CL/Teddy fic or a GD/CL fic. I'll even pay the person to write that.

11. As you can see I'm just majorly bored outta my effing mind ^^

Alongside this road you can get every imaginable fake goods, souvenir and random knickknacks.

You can even get your face carved in marble by these wonderful artists. Bring a pic to them and have it immortalized in stone~

Me and my mum would always turn up the sound and groove to "Billie Jean" everytime it came out on the radio. He was one of the people whom you'd always thought would live forever. Death has always scared the hell out of me and when someone who is seemingly as invincible and larger than life as he was passes away so suddenly, your own mortality smacks you right in the face.

You've had a career that only other artists could ever dream about. You broke down racial barriers within the Western world with your music and your dance and have influenced many many other artist to do what it is they do today. Though in the later years people have mocked you about your appearance and also your curious personal and private life, your contribution to what modern music is today will always be remembered by me and every music fan out there.
